“Mr Rothwell”

Back in 2015, while we were fulfilling the Kickstarter rewards, I interrupted Mick’s busy morning in Assembly for a portrait.

These were always occasions for testing different cameras or lenses, but for me it was an opportunity to try out different lighting configurations.

I have never been able to improve upon a few variations of this one-light setup (except by managing a key-light). Lately, a reflector is almost always positioned on the dark side to open up the shadows.
